The Runaways learned to use powers and resources inherited from their parents, and returned to defeat them. The kids won, but they didn’t all survive. Two years since Gert died, Chase decided that wasn’t okay. He took Gert’s parents’ time machine and went back to stop it from happening. He succeeded, kind of, and returned to the present with Gert, but she was bleeding out from the knife wound in her stomach. Luckily, Nico (with the assistance of a doctor she mystically summoned) was able to stop the bleeding and fix Gert’s wound.
