Signature Programs Intensives Each December and May, all Upper School students take an Intensive course. Each Intensive is an innovative, semester-credit, experiential course that focuses on a single discipline seven hours a day for three weeks, allowing for depth, travel and authentic engagement. Popular courses include What to Think About Machines That Think; Homelessness; Game Theory and Probability; Marine Science at the Island School in the Bahamas; Systems and Sustainability; Introduction to Filmmaking; Chinese Immersion at Heilongjiang University, China; and Spanish 4 Honors in Chile.
