It’s very clear that the set up committee want a name that is inclusive of Farnham and the surrounding villages in the District, to stress their desire that the project is inclusive. The name Our Farnham has been used for the website and blog. Recommendation : The name should be descriptive of the project catchment’s area to stress the inclusive nature of the project and should be a name that’s understood locally and by the potential visiting audience. Our feeling is ‘The Farnham Play’ or ‘The Farnham and District Play’ or “The Waverley Play” are more suitable that ‘Our Farnham’ which could be interpreted as exclusive to Farnham townspeople. Project catchment area Recommendation: The project centres on Farnham and surrounding villages in the Waverley District but is inclusive of anyone, both within and outside the district who wants to participate and contribute their energy to celebrating these communities .
