They are one cohesive unit. There is not a guy on the team that doesn’t want his teammate to succeed.” While team unity is key, Walker knows that you still have to have talent. “We have depth everywhere,” he said. “We have guys that play multiple positions, 15 hitters and lots of depth at the pitcher position. And more than all that, we have players that don’t want to disappoint the team.” Because Walker is so excited about this season’s team, he found it difficult to find weaknesses. “Maybe that we have only one left-handed pitcher,” Walker said. “One weakness might be the unknown on what it takes to win the league. They will need to feel their way through to learn what it takes to win in the end.” There are 11 players from last season’s team along with Alex Hancock, who played for the Golden Eagles in 2006 and Trent Johnson, who played for CSI in 2007. Those 13 are joined with 12 freshmen. Four key players that return include 2008 second-team
