Only CALIFOR- NIA remains on their home court as the other squads are spread across the nation, with ARIZONA traveling to the Hawai’i Tournament and STANFORD represent- ing on the East Coast as it competes in Washington, D.C. ... Six Pac-12 teams remain undefeated with UTAH and WASHINGTON STATE holding a 7-0 record. ARIZONA STATE and USC are 6-0, and CALIFORNIA and WASHINGTON are 5-0 and 4-0, respectively ... Six Conference teams were ranked in this week’s AVCA top-25 poll. The Trojans are the No. 1 team in the nation, followed by the Huskies at sixth, the Cardinal at 8th, UCLA at 11th, and OREGON at 20th. California broke into the rankings, placing 23rd after a weekend that saw three-consecutive sweeps, including a straight-set victory over then-ranked No. 19 Creighton. The Pac-12 has had at least five teams ranked in the top 25 for 177-consecutive weeks ... The week features contests against six ranked teams for the league. Arizona State will face No. 2 Texas in the Illini Classic, their highest-ranked opponent so far this season ... ASU’s Macey Gardner, UW’s Jenna Orlandini and WSU’s Kyra Holt all earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors. Gardner was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Orlandini took home Defensive Player of the Week honors and Holt was tabbed for Freshman of the Week. ARIZONA STATE’s Macey Gardner was named the Conference’s 6. WASHINGTON 1173 4-0 5 Offensive Player of the Week, WASHINGTON’s Jenna Orlandini was voted the Defensive Player of the 7. San Diego (1) 1042 4-1 1 4 Sophomore outside hitter Macey Gardner (Gilbert, Ariz.) was named the Most Valuable Player of the 10. Hawai’i 1023 5-1 9 Gonzaga Invitational over the weekend where she averaged 5.94 kills and 7.06 points per game, while 11. UCLA 841 5-1 1 0 hitting .367 over three matches.
