As pandemic related restric tions c ontinue to evolve, we c o ntinue to partne r with o ur loc al health departments and review updated guidanc e from the State of Ohio, CDC, and National Counc il of the Boy Sc outs of Americ a. A key c onsideration in our safety guidelines is the fac t that most Sc outing pa rtic ipants are not age-e lig ible to receive the vaccine. Effe c tive August 1, 2021 the Buc keye Counc il’s COVID-19 Safe ty Pro to c o ls re g a rding fac ial c overings have been updated. • Fac ial Cove rings are not required for fully vac c inate d individuals. All participants who are not fully vac c inate d should we ar a fac ial c ove ring whe n soc ial distanc ing c annot be maintaine d.
