Built on the same assembly line as the infamous 600 limos. This car is all original and had 24,000 miles when purchased in 1974 from the original owner, a prominent doctor in Boston. It was driven daily until 1985, when it was set aside in storage and now has 49,000 miles. In 2013, the car was completely refreshed mechanically and detailed for showing. Transmission is a 4 speed as used in the MGA. The Elite was the first road car produced by Lotus after a series of racing vehicles. Under 1000 Elites were made. It is unique in having an all fiberglass monocoque body, resulting in rigidity with lightness weighing about 1400 lb. This T5 356 B was only built for two years, 1960 and 1961, with a total build number of 2653. This car was completely restored in the mid 80s. The car is not just for looks, it has been on six Colorado Grand Tours. This car is a 1964 Porsche 356SC Cabriolet, one of 343 SC Cabriolets built that year, one of the rarest open 356 models ever made. The SC features the most powerful of the 356 pushrod motors built, and was the basis for the 912 motor. This car is Irish Green, believed to be one of 50 SC Cabs in that color built in 1964. The car is an original Colorado car, now with its third owner. It has a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, with numbers matching engine and transmission and original exterior. Recently restored by owner who has owned the car since 1966.
