In compiling this book I have tried to cover a wide cross section of motor cycling interests. Manufacturers, countries, sport - I hope your particular area of interest is included somewhere. There are two sections - General and Sport. I have tried to be completely accurate in compiling these questions. Some are from my own knowledge of motor cycling but most are sourced from books and magazines. Therefore, to a certain extent, I am dependent on the accuracy of the authors of that source material. For instance a motor cycle launched at the show in 1957 might not have been available to the public until the spring of 1958. If you feel I have got something wrong please let me know. You can write to me at the above address with any comments. I would like to give credit to the following authors and publications (past and present) for providing me with the information I needed for this book: Classic British Two Stroke Trials Bikes by Don Morley Motor Cycle Trials Riding by Max King An Illustrated History of Motorcycles, The Illustrated History of Triumph Motor- cycles and The Illustrated History of BSA Motorcycles by Roy Bacon The Ultimate Motor-Cycle Book by Hugo Wilson Norton - The Complete Story by Derek McGrath Best of British Bikes by Jim Reynolds Great British Motor Cycles of the Sixties by Bob Currie Classic Bike The Classic Motor Cycle Offroad Review Motor Cycling The Motor Cycle Ian Harwood September 1997 5 The Vintage Motorcyclist's Quiz Book 6 The Vintage Motorcyclist's Quiz Book Section 1 - General 1.
