The new website was designed to provide direct and effective services to visitors, offering a new and modern digital experience. Making use of contemporary tools and cutting-edge technology, the new website connects content with the Bank’s electronic services and online Customer service. The new website consists of the following five main sections: • Retail • Business • Alpha Bank Gold • Alpha Private Bank • Alpha Bank Group The Retail section is the new website’s homepage. Each section has its own navigation menu, featuring the main subsections/categories that contain useful information for visitors and have their own colour codes, according to the Bank’s corporate identity. < 3 / 50 > IN FOCUS New alpha.gr and existing sites The new website, which replaced the previous one, successfully incorporated the content of the following microsites: - www.alpha.gr/e-banking - www.alpha.gr/katanalotika - www.alpha.gr/e-banking/business/ - www.alpha.gr/vriskoumelyseis - www.alpha.gr/cards - www.alpha.gr/alphabankgold - www.alpha.gr/bonus - www.alpha.gr/alphaprivatebanking A website that works across different devices and screens The new alpha.gr provides the best possible experience on wide screens, with a 1333*900 px resolution, which is what most visitors use. Nonetheless, with a powerful adjustment, it also provides the best visual result on 1024*768 px screens. Visitor experience and cutting-edge technology The new website is defined by quality aesthetics and modern design, while at the same time it was tested in order to meet modern operating procedures and be user-friendly. Depending on the device used (computers, tablets, mobile phones), it makes the necessary adjustments in order to offer a fully specialised navigation experience. In addition, making use of content personalisation, it will soon provide visitors with information about Bank products and services that really interest them. < 4 / 50 > IN FOCUS Tools and new possibilities The new website has many different tools that help visitors explore the Bank’s products and services, according to their needs. Content and structure The new alpha.gr is the result of collective effort and intensive work. In order to finalise its content, the Marketing and Public Relations Division worked together with more than 25 of the Bank’s Divisions. The final structure, decided upon following interviews, questionnaires, suggestions and the study of best practices, incorporates, in the best possible way, the internal needs and the regulatory framework, in a modern environment in terms of technology, while the content was collected and updated with search engine optimisation in mind. < 5 / 50 > THE BANK “Digitalized” igital technology changes Customer needs and habits, leading to new trends in business service models and at the D same time creating challenges as well as new growth prospects. Hence, on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, Alpha Bank organised, at the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Centre, an event on digital transformation and the improvements in Customer experience that all companies should carry out, regardless of their field. Executives from Greek banks as well as Alpha Bank Executives, Partners and Customers participated in the “Digitalized” event. The Alpha Bank Deputy CEO – COO Spyros N. Filaretos opened the event, stressing the importance of these changes as well as the necessity for all companies – not just the Bank – to adjust to the new conditions, by modernising the workplace and adopting new technologies. < 6 / 50 > THE BANK The Executive General Manager – Chief Digital Officer and Retail Banking Products Damianos I. Charalampidis analysed the main parts of Alpha Bank’s digital strategy and presented the actions that are already being implemented, such as the constant development of digital structures and channels, the replacement of teller transactions with digital transactions, the redesign of Customer Journeys and the overall reinforcement of innovation. Closing his speech, Mr. Charalampidis stressed the important benefits of the digital transformation programme for the Bank and, above all, for its Customers. Speakers also included Mr. Olivier Van Duuren, founder of the “The Dualarity” and Mr. Leorizio D' Aversa from McKinsey & Company, who presented examples from similar programmes abroad and analysed what is necessary for a digital transformation programme to be successful. < 7 / 50 > THE BANK The event ended with a panel discussion on “Customer Experience in the digital era”, where CEOs from established and more recent companies participated. Specifically, the Managing Director of Aegean Airlines Mr. Dimitrios Gerogiannis, the General Manager at Microsoft Greece, Cyprus and Malta Ms. Peggy Antonakou, the President and CEO of Vodafone Greece Mr. Haris Broumidis, the Co-Founder and CEO of insurancemarket.gr Mr. Sotiris Papantonopoulos-Mantopoulos and the Founder and CEO of Spotawheel Mr. Charis Arvanitis participated in the panel discussion, where they analysed how their respective companies meet the needs and demands of the new digital era, focusing on the Customer. < 8 / 50 > THE BANK Alpha Bank named “2017 IFC Best Issuing Bank Partner in Southern Europe” by the IFC lpha Bank was named “2017 IFC Best Issuing Bank Partner in Southern Europe”, as part of the Global Trade Finance A Programme (GTFP) of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The “2017 IFC Best Issuing Bank Partner in Southern Europe” award acknowledges Alpha Bank’s ongoing support to extrovert Greek entrepreneurship, which resulted to the full and swift absorption of the Programme by its Customers since the Bank joined the GTFP, in January 2017. Alpha Bank, consistent in its long-term goal to enrich its credit products, which provide the necessary support for the development of its Customers, has been actively participating in the IFC GTFP programme and has provided, through this Programme, support in transactions worth more than USD 105 million in international trade in 2017. < 9 / 50 > THE BANK Snapshot from the award ceremony. The award ceremony took place in Athens, in the presence of the Alpha Bank Managing Director – CEO Demetrios P. Mantzounis and the Executive General Manager Wholesale Banking Constantinos R. Dorkofikis. The Manager of the Wholesale Banking Lending Division Georgia Farmaki received the award from the IFC Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia Wiebke Schloemer, on behalf of the Bank. Mr. Dorkofikis said: “This important award demonstrates Alpha Bank’s commitment in promoting international trade finance for Greek businesses and further strengthens our partnership with the IFC.
