Pupils enjoy school and take pride in their work” Ofsted 2016 1 The Hollyfield School HOLLYFIELD SCHOOL FUND The Hollyfield School is here to provide an outstanding educational experience, complemented by the values that we instil in our students of self-reliance, responsibility and honesty. In contrast with our aspirations & ambitions for your children, our public sector funding is frozen and our capital allocation funding has been slashed. Providing the best environment for learning and the best life opportunities under these circumstances is ever more challenging. The Hollyfield School Fund has been established to enable us to advance the education and welfare of all our students. Funds raised are used to provide first rate resources and opportunities for everyone at Hollyfield School. We have been fortunate over the years to have had a number of benefactors who have shared our vision and have generously helped us towards our goals. For example, they have provided financial support for the excellent annual school drama productions and also helped us improve facilities such as the refurbishment of our science labs. In recent years, Hollyfield School Fund monies have helped us rebuild the student toilet block and to provide a wonderful outside learning environment, The Hollywood Wildlife Garden. We are also looking forward to the internal and external refurbishment of the canteen facilities. One of the ways in which you can support The Hollyfield School is to provide financial assistance. Your support enables the school to consider projects and equipment to benefit the students that would not ordinarily be affordable within the annual school funding. The current suggested contribution is £30 per month, per child, or £360 per year. For the majority of donors (who are UK residents) ticking the gift aid box will enable us to reclaim a further 25 pence per £1 from the tax office. While some families support at a higher level, others prefer to give to the school in other ways, for example, by donating their skills. Whatever donation you feel able to make is greatly appreciated and will be used to benefit all our students. How you can contribute • A donation form, with Gift Aid declaration follows. If you feel able to contribute a small, regular contribution, please complete the forms and return it to the Bursar in the Finance office at school. 2 The Hollyfield School INSTRUCTION TO YOUR BANK OR BUILDING SOCIETY TO PAY STANDING ORDER Please fill in the whole form and return it to the Bursar at the address printed on the covering letter. 1 To the Manager of............................................................................................. ......................................................................................Bank/Building Society 2.
