Cherry Hill, NJ (February 11, 2019) – Paul Dilks, former Congressional Candidate for the First Congressional District in New Jersey after making his return to local radio on February 4th on WNJC 1360 Monday – Friday afternoons from 3:00 – 6:00, decided to incorporate into his program a “Veteran of the Day” during the 4:00 hour. Paul has been involved in Veteran causes since his time on the radio a few years ago. “We owe our veterans so much as they may be asked to put their lives in harm’s way at any time to protect the freedoms we have as Americans. “ Paul explained. “I have become friends with many of the members of the Glassboro VFW and honoring them and other veterans just seemed like the right thing to do.” Also within the segment Paul will be honoring one Purple Heart recipient each week. He will be asking each honoree for a few songs from Paul’s play list that may have got them through their time of service or favorite songs of their youth. Paul is asking for nominees of veterans from his listening audience. Honoring a veteran each day allows us to honor well over 200 per year and Paul would like to have input from his audience.
