BamBam Rubble 3D MODEL ONLY reddadsteve VIEW IN BROWSER updated 11. 8. 2020 | published 11. 8. 2020 Summary BamBam, from the Flintstones cartoon show by Hanna-Barbera. The Flintstones cartoon takes place in a romanticized Stone Age setting, depicting the lives of the Flintstone family and their best friends and neighbors the Rubbles. BamBam is the adopted son of Betty Rubble and Barney Rubble after they found him left on their doorstep No supports are required. If you have the proper filament colors, no painting is needed. The model is 155mm tall after assembly. Enjoy, and I hope you have a "Yaba Daba Do" time printing this! Skin or Beige: head body_left body_right legs (contains two pieces) .. Orange: hat pants .. Light Brown: base club_top club_bottom .. Dark brown: strap .. White: hair_top hair_bottom bone_left bone_right eye_whites (contains two pieces) .. Any color (hidden pieces): pins (contains four pieces) Printing and assembly tips 1-As with most of my models, no supports are required. 2-Be sure to clean any first layer squish if you have any problem joining parts. The parts should fit nicely when printed cleanly. 3-There are a number of very small pieces which can easily get lost if you are as clumsy as I am. It's a good Idea to simply print extra pieces of the small parts since they are fast to print. 4-Use your discretion for rafts/brims on the bone pieces since they have smallish bases and are top heavy. 5-On a personal note, my wife still says Pebbles looks much cuter than BamBam! .. Assembly tips: 1-For ease of assembly, I suggest inserting the eye_whites into the eye_blacks with the smooth side facing out but either way works. 4-The head snaps into the hair_bottom with a bit of pressure. Be sure to align and push the head completely up and into the hair_bottom for a complete fit. I did not use any glue on this part. 3-The bones fit into the slight indents in the strap piece and the larger portion of the bone simply rests on the pants. Look carefully at the bone, it could accidentally be positioned upside down. Left/right bones pieces are ever so slightly different and could be switched if you get them confused. 4- I use a tacky glue to put my models together, E6000, so I have plenty of time to position them correctly. The body, strap and pants are all glued together so if you are using a fast drying glue be sure to fully test fit the pieces and decide the best order of gluing them. Your feedback will be appreciated. 5-A general note, I struggled with this model in order to create it without supports. Therefore I made some concessions to the iconic pose that the character normally takes. In addition, there are some very small design flaws that I simply could not get around. I am still happy with the model and again, your feedback is most welcome. 5-Refer to the assembly diagram for putting the model together. The model is meant to be glued.
