What time again to ancient lores attend? 21 MA THE KING 10 OFAN EMPEROR Zhu Yuanzhang S ’ ing J an N anjing has been the home of many great figures throughout its lengthy history, yet none were as commanding as the Ntranscendent Ming Dynasty founder and Hongwu Emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang. Historians refer to him as one of the greatest emperors China has ever seen, noting his exceptional rise from rags to riches and his tremendous influence over the nation.
