Our Persia Classic Tour program includes the natural and historical attractions of central parts of Iran. In this Route, we will visit cities like Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd, and Shiraz. In most of these areas, living in warm and dry areas has been linked with history and has shaped the lifestyle that is specific to these areas. Highlights: ▪ It is a 08 days Iran classic discovery and cultural tour. ▪ The tour starts and ends in Tehran. We visit 5 main cities and amazing UNESCO world heritage sites in Iran. ▪ Meals and accommodations are B&B. Tour Itinerary: Landing to PERSIA Welcome to Iran. To be met by your tour guide at the airport (IKA airport), you will be transferred to your hotel. We will visit the lavish Golestan Palace*, this fabulous walled complex is centered on a landscaped garden with tranquil pools. Time permitting; we can walk around Grand old Bazaar of Tehran, few steps far from Golestan Palace. Continue along the Bazaar route. Then at night, we take a flight to Shiraz. O/N Shiraz Note: The priority in sightseeing may be changed due to the time of your arrival, preference of your guide and also official and unofficial holidays of some museums. Glory of Persia We will have a full day city tour including Eram Persian Garden* called in Persian "Baghe Eram" (registered in UNESCO world heritage sites). After that, you’ll visit Karim Khan Citadel, Built during the Zand Dynasty as a residential military palace. Then you will have time to explore and shop in the bustling Vakil Bazaar, home to hundreds of stores, beautiful courtyards, and even an ancient caravanserai. After that, you will visit Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (aka Pink Mosque) few steps far from Vakil Bazaar. We finish the day visiting the tomb of Hafez and Saadi (Saʿdī), two of Persian most outstanding world-famous poets. O/N Shiraz Pasargadae, Tomb of Cyrus the Great In the morning, we have a full day of driving to reach our destination of Yazd. First visit Naqsh-e Rostam an ancient necropolis and then we visit the magnificent Persepolis*. After that Pasargadae*, Tomb of Cyrus the great (559-530 BCE), founder of Persian Empire, is waiting for us. Both sites are registered in UNESCO World Heritage. On our way to Yazd, We will have a stop to visit Abarkouh; a small desert city with some beautiful adobe buildings. The important thing is to see a tree, which some biologists believe that this tree is the oldest living tree in the world! O/N Yazd Religions Crossway After having breakfast, visit the stunning City of wind towers in middle of deserts and Zoroastrianism. Fire Temple of Yazd (related to Zoroastrians) is the first visit of the day. Fire temple in Zoroastrianism is the place of worship for Zoroastrians. Then we visit Tower of Silence, a structure built by Zoroastrians for excarnation. Then, walk around the old area of the city and visit Yazd Jame mosque, and Fahadan district to feel the desert architecture culture. Among the many other historic sites to be seen in Yazd are beautiful old homes and the Dowlat Abad Garden*. Standing by the garden’s long reflecting pool, you’ll be shaded by ancient cypress trees. O/N Yazd Glory of Desert After having breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we leave Yazd to Isfahan. But en-route we visit the magnificent desert of Varzaneh. We will stay there until afternoon to enjoy the scenery. In the evening, we move toward Isfahan. O/N Varzaneh The Glory of Islamic Arts Your exploration starts in Jame Mosque of Isfahan. Then through Gheysarieh Gate, you’ll enter the Naqsh-e Jahan Square*. This 17th-century site is one of the largest public spaces in the world. Here in the square, you’ll visit the Shah Mosque* and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque*, revered as a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. In Ali Qapu Palace*, you’ll marvel at its beautiful music rooms and the balconies where Safavid kings would sit to enjoy the polo matches unfolding in the square below. Next up is Chehel Sotun*. Set in a landscaped and forested park in front of a tranquil reflecting pool, this graceful pavilion was built by Shah Abbas II for entertainment and court receptions. You’ll end your day exploring ZayandeRood River and its historical bridges called Si-o-Se-Pol and Khaju. O/N Isfahan Kashan Life Leaving Isfahan behind, continue to Kashan to visit Tabatabaei historical house, Borujerdiha/Abbasian historical house, and Fin Persian Garden*, a relaxing and visually impressive Persian garden with water channels all passing through a central pavilion and finish the day by visiting Aghabozorg mosque. O/N Kashan Missing Persia On the last day, we leave Kashan to Tehran. Here you either go to IKA or go to your hotel and rest. All sites with * sign are submitted in UNESCO world heritage. Note: • The priority in sightseeing may be changed due to the time of your arrival, preference of your guide and also official and unofficial holidays of some museums. • In special conditions the accommodations can be changed to a similar alternative. • Hotel check-in time generally is at 2:00 PM. According to your arrival time, if you need an early check- in you must book an extra day. • Private or single rooms are not available in some traditional local or guest houses. And also in these places, sleeping equipment is traditional, comfortable Mattresses and Blankets. No Bed! Services Included: • All transfers and transportations (Private car for 2-3 pax.
