We started off with our Saturday Latin Night. As usual, it was a packed house and the dancing never ended. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped put this together for another successful night. On to our St. Joseph’s Dinner Dance which was over the top. The food was delicious and of course our own Phil Farino made it a grand night. A special thank you goes out to Mike our chef, Lucille and her crew for the beautiful decorations, the Heritage Committee, John La Corte and his volunteers for making the St. Josephs pastry and Lou Monico and his “Roasting” of the Board! Very funny! April is going to be the most exciting month. On April 9, it’s our Sock Hop night with Traces of Gold playing. So dress up in your favorite 50’s outfit and get ready for a fantastic night. Tickets are going fast so if you haven’t bought them yet they are on sale now. April 30 is our Vegas Night and this is something you won’t want to miss. Our hall will look like a Casino and we have some exciting games for you to play. The admission is $20.00 dollars and that includes a free appetizer buffet all night and $500.00 in play money to spend at the tables. For every $200.00 dollars you win you will be given a ticket to put in the pick a prize buckets. There are some fantastic prizes. Tickets are on sale now and will also be sold at the door. The board and I want to say thank you for the attendance at the General Membership meeting. We had a huge quorum and passed one of our By-Law changes. Save the date April 20, 2016 we are having our next meeting and will be giving away another $50.00. Hope to see all of you there. Nominations are coming up this month for the Executive Board and its Directors. If you are interested in running, please let Liz Piettro know by email. Again, I stress if you are planning on running, we are a working Board and you will be expected to close the club on weekdays & weekends. Good luck to all of you.
