There appears to have been two couples with these names living in Andreas around this time with approximately 15 children between them. So far no effort has been made to separate the two families. In 1841 she was living with her parents at Ballabin, Bride. In the 1841 census he was living with his parents at Mary Veg, Santan. In 1851 he was living with his parents at 30, Malew Street, Castletown. 16.8.3 Elizabeth Jane Gawne was baptized on the 25th of September, 1842, at Santan. She did not survive infancy. 16.8.4 Ann Gawne was baptized on the 25th of September, 1842, at Santan. She did not survive infancy. 16.8.5 Margaret Gawne was baptized on the 30th of June, 1844, at St. Mary,Castletown. She did not survive infancy and was buried on the 2nd of October, 1844, at Malew, when her age was rcorded as 3 months. 16.8.6 John Gawne was baptized on the 21st of January, 1846, at St. Mary, Castletown. In 1851 he was living with his parents at 30, Malew Street, Castletown. 16.8.7 Elizabeth Anne Gawne (6967) was baptized on the 15th of October, 1848, at St. Mary, Castletown. In 1851 she was living with her parents at 30, Malew Street, Castletown. She has not been identified in the 1861 census but in 1871 is living with her parents at 6, Arbory Road, Malew. in 1881 she was living with her two sons in the Old Peel Road, Billown, Malew.
