Stockholm February 9, 2015 Press Release: SF Kino opens Norway’s biggest cinema multiplex, with IMAX®-screen, in Oslo SF Kino, part of Nordic Cinema Group, will open Norway’s biggest cinema multiplex in Storo, Oslo, in 2017. The new multiplex will be Oslo’s and Norway's largest and will also be the first multiplex in Norway with an IMAX® cinema, the world’s most immersive moviegoing experience. SF Kino has previously taken over the operation of the Ski Kino center, just outside of Oslo. The next step is that SF Kino opens a multiplex in the Storo Shopping mall. “Nordic Cinema Group has a strategy to grow, primarily in existing markets, in large and medium cities with population growth. That we now take over the operations of Ski and plan to open a multiplex in Storo are good examples of that we now realize our strategy.” says Nordic Cinema Group CEO Jan Bernhardsson. SF Kino has also partnered with IMAX and the multiplex in Storo will be the first in Norway, which has an IMAX® cinema. Movies will appear on an IMAX screen, the size of a three-storey building.
