Dr. Catena exemplifies the selflessness and commitment to others that are the hallmarks of CMMB’s volunteer program. To inspire and provide opportunities for others to follow in his path and take up the call of “service to others”, CMMB supported the recruitment, placement and maintenance of 12 individuals who committed to long-term volunteer service in rural areas of Kenya, Sudan and South Sudan, where severe armed conflicts and shortage of medical and health professionals are a common occurrence.
