Turn OFF the power switch on your Sega™ Genesis™. NEVER insert or remove a game cartridge when the power is on. 2. Make sure your control is plugged into the port labeled Control 1 on the console. If you’re playing against or with a friend, plug his control into the port labeled Control 2. 3. Insert the game cartridge into the slot on the Genesis.
