Idaho State The football program began when the college was founded in 1911, but the college didn’t field teams during World War I and World War II. The Eagles have (0-2, 0-0 Big Sky) an all-time record of 510-344-15. In 100 season opening games, the Eagles own a 58-38-4 record. D-II vs. FCS The Eagles have played seven games against FCS (formerly NCAA IAA) opponents since 1997, including four versus Montana State. Until the Eagles suffered a 33-6 setback to Montana State, they had never lost any of them by more than two touchdowns. Chadron State’s victories include the rousing 35-24 upset of the Bobcats in 2006, one week after Montana State defeated the University of Colorado. CSC also bombarded Northern Colorado 31-0 the following year.
