It contains a considerable collection of books, documents and other items relating to Robert Owen and Newtown. (A collection of some 3,000 items of Robert Owen's correspondence is in the Library of the Co-operative Union, Ltd., Holyoake House, Hanover Street, Manchester M60 OAS). This list of the contents of the Museum was prepared for the Trustees by C.J. Williams of the Clwyd Record Office, Hawarden.
