Rydla 14/24, 30-130 Kraków, Poland (E-mail: [email protected]) ABSTRACT The following paper highlights the importance of accessibility, with particular emphasis on public transport, as a factor enabling hiking in relatively large region with numerous sites of outstanding natural and cultural value. The region under consideration is a part Spanish Pyrenees. Namely massifs of Monte Perdido and Sierra de Guara both located in Aragon. The paper is predominantly based on personal experience and observations, which the author gained during his trip in September 2008.
