Technically, Sabbath never really broke up. -------- However, this def- inite ly IS a -Chris Reznak reunion. Heavy STAFF WRITER rock legend Ozzy Osbourne was booted out o f the band in the late 70's after ten plus years. He ' went o n to form a huge ly successful solo career in the company of the late great g uitar gian t Randy Rhodes, Jake E. Lee, and Zakk Wylde among others. Bill Ward soon exi ted after Osbourne. To put it mildly, the band was never the same. Black Sabbath was formed in the late 60's in the dank smoke s tack indus try town of Birmingham England. The band re leased the ir first album Bluck Subburh in 1968 . The ir sound exhibited a dark and evil tonality and the ir lyrics dis­ c ussed the ugly aspects of the ir li ves in the dismal polluted town o f Birmingham.
