Expectations of Parents and Families Establish a consistent place of study that is quiet, well-lit, and free of distractions Monitor student’s study time, as well as appropriate use of electronic devices (i.e. cell phones, tablets, computers, etc.) Ensure a minimum of 1 hour of studying/completing homework 5 nights per week. Check student’s progress/grades once a week via PowerSchool and offer praise and encouragement .
