A system that, through its connections with ports, intermodal nodes and regional transport network, is able to properly serve various passenger and goods demands connecting it with the national aviation network and the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian back rail. CORRIDOR 8 21st November 2011 2 Adriatic railway line The Adriatic Line is the only north-south connection with the transhipment ports entirely adequate to high cube containers. The action includes: continued support to the advancement of the project of double line from Termoli to Lesina, setting up a working group with all the regions crossed by the line to share the principles of an operational model for passengeres and goods transport and ensuring adequate commercial speeds. 21st November 2011 3 Regional logistic system The structure in Surbo, Tuturano and Incoronata are applying to become a "toll" of regional logistic system: train sections from these nodes can be recombined in IRP and Lamasinata and can be sent to the northern Italy and Europe with goods from the ports of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto. LECCE Ancona- BRINDISI TARANTO Bologna- Milano-Verona BARI INCORONATA Bari TRAIN TO NORTHERN ITALY Brindisi Lecce Taranto 21st November 2011 4 Taranto: transhipment hub The hub in Taranto with its characteristics (location, infrastructure, accessibility and availability of multimodal areas of the back port) can compete with the main mediterranean terminals to serve the flow of goods moving on the meridian corridor. The connection with the railway network and the perspective of full integration with the railway lines Bari-Naples and Adriatic give to Taranto an important position in the regional logistic system 21st November 2011 Logistic Platform and Distripark in Taranto 5 and their connection to Grottaglie airport The completion of the logistics platform of Taranto port, the realization of the Distripark and enhancing the link between these one and the Grottaglie airport allow to give to the port of Taranto an area equipped with all the requirementst o facilitate the full operation and competitiveness of handling, deconsolidation and processing of goods activities 21st November 2011 6 The railway junction in Bari In terms of goods transport, through the integration of Lamasinata Stations, Ferruccio Stations and Interporto with new arrivals-departures, the railway junction is in a strategic position to play its natural role as a filter to enhance intermodal transport on the Adriatic line, in perspective on the NA- BA. In terms of passenger transport, Bari will assume the dual function of junction between regional trasport and corridor Bari-Napoli, as the root node of TPRL, according to the logic of PRT and aiming to achieve a network of regional service area and metroplitan service. 21st November 2011 7 Regional airport system Apulia Region has developed an airport system and a network of connections that can compensate the low accessibility compared to other Italian regions, caused by the inadequacy of long-distance rail links . The priority issues are related, therefore, to completion of the planned airport infrastructures, the upgrading of Foggia airport , the completion of operations in Bari and Brindisi airports and territorial accessibility to the system, achieved through the integration of airports with other multimodal transportnetworks. 21st November 2011 The cruise terminal in Brindisi and 8 its intermodal connection The realization of Cruise Terminal and the activation of a shuttle system connecting the airport and the railway network can exploit the extraordinary potential of contiguity between port, airport and rail network: the direct connection to the airport makes very competitive the cruise terminal Brindisi, both as a point of departure / arrival, both as an intermediate stop in the tour of Salento. Furthermore, the connection shuttle can also be exploited by the residents of smaller towns and / or of Taranto and Lecce to reach Salento Airport. 21st November 2011 9 Infomobility The spread of infrastructure, technologies and ITS services amplifies the potential forstrategicdevelopmentinlogistics, tourism, localpublictransport.TheElectronicInformation System Integrated Ports Puglia (SITIP) is the starting point and testing ground to structure a wide network logistics service aimed at improving the coordination capacity of the regional system to extend to national and international scale. Regarding the public transport, ITS systems must be able to support the processes of integration between operators and services, while providing the tools of access to information for users. 21st November 2011 10 The structural integration of TPRL system The effort carried out to infrastructure TPRL network have to be enhanced by a series of complementary actions aimed to achieve: • a network of multi-modal services functionally integrated • fare integration throughout the region •integration between networks and TPRL operators for interoperability and operational optimization Functional integration Processes integration Fare integration 21st November 2011 The Projects RAILWAY SYSTEM 4 Regional lines 5 Railway lines 1 National line Metropolitan Rail Service Interscambio SFT-servizi gomma Interscambio SFR-SFT-SFM-servizi gomma Interscambio SFR-SFT-servizi gomma Interscambio SFR-SFT-SFM 21st November 2011 RAILWAY SYSTEM Metropolitan Service in Bari Lines San Severo-Lecce Molfetta-Lecce Foggia-Torre a mare Monopoli-Barletta Molfetta-Torre a mare Bari c.le -Martina Franca Bari c.le -Putignano Bitonto-Rutigliano Bari c.le-Turi-Putignano Bari c.le-Barletta Bari c.le-Ruvo Carbonara-S.Paolo Bari c.le-S.Paolo Baric.le-Matera Bari-Toritto Bari-Taranto Bari-Gioia del Colle Bari c.le-Bitritto 21st November 2011 Il Modello di Simulazione RAILWAY SYSTEM Bari-Barletta Line 21st November 2011 RAILWAY SYSTEM Bari-Barletta Line Nuova Fermata Nord Via Vecchia Barletta SS 170 Andria - Barletta Via Ospedaletto Stazione Centrale Via Trani - Via Gramsci Andria Nord Andria sud Nuova Fermata Sud Andria Nord Andria Centrale via Gramsci Andria Sud RAILWAY SYSTEM Bari-Barletta Line Indicatori Barletta Scalo Passeggeri*km Scenario Orizzonte Treno- Auto in Park & Sosta Bus-Treno Totale Var % infrastrutturale temporale Treno scope Ride Attuale 2008 356348 27944 0 0 384292 Attuale 2020 501988 44599 0 0 546587 Attuale 2040 579991 52149 0 0 632140 Riferimento soft 2008 310317 15788 23231 167054 516390 34.37% Riferimento soft 2020 432727 23489 33551 211217 700984 28.25% Riferimento soft 2040 501279 28085 44002 236371 809737 28.09% Pax*km Riferimento hard 2008 310317 15788 23773 236628 586507 52.62% Riferimento hard 2020 432727 23489 36323 288883 781422 42.96% Riferimento hard1200000 2040 501279 28085 45163 338832 913359 44.49% Progetto soft 2008 371011 34996 29859 161644 597510 55.48% Progetto soft1000000 2020 520161 57197
