Prior to the match, the Huskers’ 2015 NCAA title banner will be unveiled. Following the match, Sept. 9 vs. Arkansas 6 p.m. the Huskers will sign autographs for 30 minutes. University of Nebraska-Lincoln students are also Sept. 10 at New Mexico 8:30 p.m. invited to watch Nebraska’s pass and serve from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday. The first 200 students will receive free Chick-Fil-A, and there will be prizes and a meet and greet with the team. Nov. 16 Penn State 8 p.m. BTN/BTN2GO Nov. 19 at Iowa 8 p.m. Huskers Earn Preseason No. 1 Ranking Nov. 23 at Minnesota 8 p.m. BTN/BTN2GO • The defending national champion Nebraska volleyball team will begin the 2016 season at No. 1 Nov. 26 Michigan 7 p.m. TBA in the AVCA Coaches Poll. Nebraska received 60 of 64 first-place votes in the poll and totaled 1,594 points. Texas (1,517 points) was second and received three first-place votes. Minnesota, Wisconsin and NCAA Tournament Kansas rounded out the top five. Dec. 1-2 First Round Campus Sites • The Huskers have been ranked No. 1 in the preseason poll four other times (2001, 2005, 2006 and Dec. 2-3 Second Round Campus Sites 2007). The 2006 squad went wire-to-wire to win the national title. This year’s Husker team is aiming to Dec. 9 Regional Semifinals Campus Sites become the first in program history to repeat as champions. Dec. 10 Regional Finals Campus Sites • Nebraska is also after its first Big Ten conference championship since 2011. That will be no easy Dec. 15 Semifinals Columbus, Ohio (Nationwide Arena) feat, however, as seven Big Ten teams are ranked in the preseason poll.
