Marketing Executive The Brisbane Heat is one of eight teams competing in the KFC T20 Big Bash League (BBL). Owned and supported by Queensland Cricket, but managed by a dedicated team with an independent Board, the Heat is a new and exciting brand on the Queensland sporting landscape. Are you seeking an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? The inaugural season of the BBL was a huge success and an opportunity has arisen in the role of Marketing Executive. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position is for an experienced marketing all-rounder seeking the next step in their career. You will have experience in managing multiple tasks at any one time and play a critical role in the promotion of the Brisbane Heat. Key responsibilities include: Assist in the development and management of the marketing plan, including strategy and implementation Liaise with and service Brisbane Heat sponsors Liaise with the playing squad in relation to player appearances, promotions, communications, apparel and equipment Manage and co-ordinate match day event presentation Liaise with Brisbane Heat’s third party creative and digital agency Liaise with Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket Assist with website and social media content The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years experience in a similar marketing role, ideally within a sporting organisation. Ideally, they will be tertiary qualified in marketing and experienced in dealing with multiple stakeholders.
