Explore FurtherSM DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY Day 1 Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be met by your local representative and escorted to your luxury hotel, where dinner will be served this evening. Day 2 After breakfast, explore Mumbai's kaleidoscopic past and vibrant present as you see some of the city’s landmarks. Visit India's largest open-air laundry, stroll through the bustling Crawford Market, and lunch at a local restaurant. Day 3 After breakfast, set sail to the spectacular 6th-century city of caves on Elephanta Island, which display an incredible collection of art on the rocks dedicated to Shiva, one of Hindu’s principal deities. Enjoy some time at leisure before regrouping this evening, for your transfer to Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to board the Deccan Odyssey, where you’ll enjoy dinner onboard. Day 4 This morning, awaken in Vadodara where you’ll visit Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s a complex of largely unexcavated historical and cultural sites that include an early Hindu hill fortress and the remains of the 16th-century capital of Gujarat. Following lunch onboard the train, visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum’s art collection followed by high tea at Laxmi Vilas Palace, the royal family’s magnificent residence before re-boarding the Deccan Odyssey. Day 5 Today, you arrive in Udaipur. Visit the lake city’s famous City Palace and its spectacular Crystal Gallery.
