That said, all have worked hard in the field and batting, with some outstanding individual performances. Thanks & good luck! Extras! Featured player profile: Emily Jones In this edition’s newsletter, we take the time to get to know club stalwart, Emily Jones. Inheriting the nickname, PA, for her unusual bowling style which was reminiscent of South African ‘frog in a blender’, Paul Adams, Jones introduction into cricket was similar to many other young girls around the country, battling it out in family games of backyard cricket before tagging along to training with her big brother at Barnet. Before long, the buzz of having boys both irritated and embarrassed at getting out to a girl, gave PA a continual zest for the game we all love.
