This program supports adults who have completed cancer treatment within the last 2 years. The 9 week program helps bridge the gap between cancer treatment and life following cancer. This fiscal year the Living Life Post Cancer Treatment Program was presented 8 times in 7 different locations. The Program was offered at the following locations; Our Clubhouse Allegheny, Our Clubhouse Westmoreland, Jewish Community Center – South Hills, UPMC Passavant Hospital, Carnegie Library Brookline location, UPMC East and Forbes Hospital. Our Clubhouse collaborated with UPMC, AHN, Excela Health and St. Clair Hospital to offer the program in community settings. Our Clubhouse Westmoreland Our Clubhouse Westmoreland opened in September 2015. Membership and awareness continue to increase. Various programs have been offered to help support those living with and touched by cancer. Some of these programs are the Living with Cancer Support Group, Healthy Snacks Cooking Demonstration, Bereavement Support Group, Valentine’s Dinner Celebration, Master Gardening Lecture and Canvas Collage Art Workshop. Continued on page 3 2 2015/2016 Highlights Our Clubhouse Westmoreland continues to develop and expand community relationships within Westmoreland County. Excela Health, Arnold Palmer Pavilion, and The American Cancer Society work with Our Clubhouse to help spread awareness about the mission of the program and collabo- rate in offering their services when appropriate. This summer Our Clubhouse was asked by The Old Joe Club Charities to attend the Westmoreland Croquet Club Tournament as one of the 6 non-profit organizations. We had an opportunity to share our mission with over 2,000 people who attended the event. Our Clubhouse is a member of the Westmoreland County and Greater Latrobe-Laurel Valley Chamber of Commerce.
