Council © WEXFORD COUNTY COUNCIL ARCHIVES Tne Monthly Meeting of Wexford County Council was held in County Council Chamber, County Hall, Wexford, on 8th February 1937. Present:- Mr. D. Allen(Chairman), presiding; also, Messrs. Patk. Colfer, Jonn Connors, R. Corish, C. Culleton, W. Cullimore, John Day, Col. C.M. Gibbon, W. P. Keegan, John P. Kelly, W. Kinsella, Jas. Lawler, Sean O'Byrne, Miss N. O'Ryan, Ml. Redmond, T. Redmond, P. Ronan and Myles ~ The County Secretary, County Surveyor and the five Assistant Surveyors were also in attendance. Mr. Elgee, County Solicitor, wrote he was laid up witn influenza and Col. QUin wrote apologising for his absence from the meeting as he was ill with the flu. The Minutes of last meeting were confirmed. PAYMENTS Treasurer's Advice Notes for £336. 3. 4d Salaries and £8226. 14. 4d ordinary payments (including payments \ to Road Contractors) were examined and signed. THE LATE MR. SAMUEL BOLGER On the motion of Mr. Kelly seconded by Mr. Corish it was resplved tnat the following reply from Mr. Moses Bolger, Coolnaleen, Camolin, in acknowledgment of vote of condolence from the County Council in the death of his brother, Samuel, be inserted on the minutes of the day:- "Please convey to the members of your Council my sincere thanks for their resolution of sympathy tendered me on the death of my brother, and also accept my gratitude for your personal message of sympatny. Such sympathy as yours leaves a per·son to know that at tne time of afflic­ tion tney are not forgotten by old friends and colleagues."
