Becnel, Jr. Sandra C. Frazier Donna Lemm PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT DIRECTOR EX-OFFICIO Past President’s COUNCIL DIRECTOR Mike Ludwick Janet Colley Morse Jeff Louis Rick Ricouard Stacy Stubbs DIRECTOR DIRECTOR DIRECTOR DIRECTOR DIRECTOR In existence since 1913, IFFCBANO is a professional association comprised of licensed international freight forwarders, licensed custom brokers and transportation service providers located in the Southeastern United States with expertise in about providing international transportation services nationwide. Working closely with all U.S. government agencies involved in international shipping the Association works to ensure the rights and interests of importers, exporters and members are protected. As an affiliate of the National Custom Brokers us and Freight Forwarders Association (NCBFAA), our members work in conjunction with our national leaders in Washington to ensure the impact of new trade legislation on the trade community is positive. Actively promoting the advantages of shipping through the New Orleans area since 1988, IFFCBANO works in conjunction and coordination with regional trade associations and industry partners to develop new economic opportunities for the community and its membership. Working together to expand educational opportunities and trade development efforts, IFFCBANO and our member firms are poised to capitalize on the emerging opportunities in the Gulf region. We look forward to another year of servicing the international trade community and our membership. 2 2017 IFFCBANO MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear Friends and Members, Another year has passed and more changes and challenges have affected our industry. In 2016, IFFCBANO officers, directors, and members worked together to advance the mission of IFFCBANO. Hazmat training sessions were held to educate and certify our members. In partnership with the local Ports, USEAC, CBP, and Regional Planning Commission, IFFCBANO members participate in meetings to educate members of the trade on issues affecting not only our industry but that of our customers. In September 2016 both members and officers of IFFCBANO traveled to Washington D.C for the NCBFAA’s Government Affairs Conference. Although the impending election and a lame duck Congress kept the issues lighter than usual, the Louisiana delegation spent the day on Capitol Hill educating our Senators and Representatives on Port Congestion, Dredging, and funding for ACE completion. We look forward to returning to DC in September 2017 and hope more members will join us on Capitol Hill. Beginning in 2016, IFFCBANO has been working with the New Orleans Board of Trade’s New Orleans Public Belt User group to educate the NOPB Commissioners, New Orleans City Council, and the Mayor that selling or leasing the NOPB to a private operator is bad for New Orleans, the Port and the NOPB Customers. The NOPB needs to remain status quo and continue operating as a neutral service provider for the City of New Orleans. The year is just beginning but IFFCBANO is already planning for an eventful 2017. IFFCBANO’s flagship event, the 39th Annual International Trade Symposium, is being held June 1st through the 4th at the beautiful Marriott Grand Hotel and Resort in Point Clear, Alabama. Focusing on “Ensuring Your Supply Chain is Not a Chain of Fools”, our program committee has been diligently working on putting together a quality program that will appeal to both members and associate members. We will wrap up the year with the Annual State of the Port address on November 9th featuring Brandy Christian, President and CEO for the Port of New Orleans. I look forward to seeing you at all of these events. Details can be found at www.iffcbano.org. In closing, I hope that you will find the 2017 Membership Directory a resourceful tool and I look forward to working with all of you over the next year.
