This past weekend , several Senators noted on / during interviews that they will vote not guilty after the trial of the President . Am I correct in the assumption that the Senators , all Senators , took an oath and the oath was that they would act fairly and impartially during the trial of the President ? If so , how , without reviewing the evidence can one be fair and impartial before the evidence is introduced ? I believe that any Senator , from either party , who reveals their choice prior to the trial , has violated his / hers oath of office and should be severely censured as was McCarthy some years ago .
