CAAB Part M has been published already. (These are under South Asia Regional Ini4aves program) 25th SCM, COSCAP-SA 16 – Restructuring the exis4ng organogram with almost double manpower. – To address ICAO Cri4cal Element (CE) -4 CAAB has u4lized COSCAP-SA, Singapore Aviaon Academy, FAA Academy, Oklahoma in the following areas: • GSI Courses • State Safety Programme, • Safety Management System, • Aircra Accident Incident Inves4gaon • Surveillance Course • Resolu4on of Safety Concern etc 25th SCM, COSCAP-SA 17 At present – – 24 FOI’s are trained on GSI Ops – 12 Personnel are trained on GSI PEL – 16 Inspectors are trained on GSI Airworthiness – 21 Inspectors are trained on ITS, Resolu4on of safety Concern and Surveillance of Service provider All these are FAA course 25th SCM, COSCAP-SA 18 • Very recently on-site training on SMS and SSP has been completed with the support from COSCAP-SA and Singapore Aviaon Academy (SAA). • CAAB has signed an agreement with SAA for on- site Accident Inves4gaon Course. The course is scheduled to be held at November 2016. CAAB will gladly welcome par2cipants from COSCAP-SA member states in this Course (07 persons from SA). 25th SCM, COSCAP-SA 19 • Moreover for a sustainable development and growth of aviaon sector CAAB is offering courses to the air operators. • Around 100 Industry Personnel have aended the following courses organized by CAAB. Ø SSP course Ø SMS course Ø Aviaon Security Ø DCP(Designated Check Pilot) course Ø FOI course 25th SCM, COSCAP-SA 20 • CAAB has established the AAIG-BD and the CAAB Chairman has done needful for funconally working as an independent group. Recently, Office Circular is promulgated in this regard. • CAAB is on it’s way to forwarded a proposal to the Government to shia the overall control of AAIG-BD under the Ministry, so that, it gets totally separate from CAAB. 25th SCM, COSCAP-SA 21 ASRTM Centralized Database for Civil Aviaon Operaonal Management CAAB has developed a Database on Aviaon Safety Repor4ng Tracking Management (ASTRM) Purpose: § Regular monitoring of Oversight Ac4vi4es § ITS and Training Records of Inspectors § Personal Records of Inspectors 25th SCM, COSCAP-SA 22 Ini4aves as Service Provider 25th SCM, COSCAP-SA 23 Ini4aves as Service Provider • A new interna4onal Airport namely Bongobondhu Internaonal Airport with a capacity of 50 million Pax is under the Govt Project. • Extension of exis4ng passenger terminal of HSIA having the facility 24 boarding bridges.
