16th FINA World Championships July 24 - August 9, 2015 FINA DIVING WORLD SERIES: FIRST MEDALS CLAIMED ON DAY 1 24.04.2015, 19:48 Medals in the men’s and women’s 10m platform and 3m springboard synchro events SPORT were contested on the opening day of the FINA/NVC Diving World Series at the Aquatics Palace, Kazan. First medals of the World Series were up for grabs in the 10m platform dives. China finished on the top step of the podium in both men's and women's medal events. The Chinese duet Aisen CHEN and Lin YUE beat Mexico's Ivan GARCIA and German SANCHEZ with German divers Sascha KLEIN and Patrick HAUSDING ending up in third place.
