This extensive park houses exhibits from all of Indonesia's provinces. It has its own orchid garden, bird-park with a walk-in aviary, Imax theatre, a fauna museum and recreational grounds. Of special interest is the Museum Indonesia, housing contemporary arts crafts and traditional costumes from around the country. Later visit “Pasar Seni” or art market - an outdoor art market and recreational place featuring antiques, handicrafts, painting, potters, and knick-knacks. With many of the artisans working on site, it is a paradise for souvenir hunters and art lovers and has a varied collection of Indonesian handicrafts, paintings and souvenirs. After about 2.5 hours driving along the highway we will be arriving in Bandung and then head to the rim of Tangkuban Perahu Volcano, Ciater hot springs and thermal spa. After lunch at a local restaurant, we have some time for shopping at the textile outlet before heading back to Jakarta. Bandung is the capital of West Java in Indonesia located about 180 kilometers southeast from Jakarta; the city is situated on a plateau 768 meters above sea level with a cool climate throughout the year. Tangkuban Perahu is a volcano with three craters into which areas tourists can walk through, these three craters are: Kawah Ratu ("Queen Crater"), Kawah Domas ("Domas Crater"), and Kawah Upas ("Upas Crater"). Ciater Hot Spring is a nice park with pools in which we can sit or swim, the streams and pools are fed by warm mineral springs which are created by the heat from nearby volcanoes. Continue to the Elephant Cave, Goa Gajah. The cave was built in the 9th century and the addition of the bathing place dates back to the 1950’s. Pay a short visit to the monkey forest - home to a healthy population of long-tailed macaques and then drive onwards to Ubud and visit the local market and Ubud Palace. The Royal Family still lives in the palace and at night the garden is used for staging some of Bali’s most important dances, such as the Legong Dance, Barong Dance, Ramayana and Mahabrata ballets. Learn more about the plantations and the animals inhabiting them. Hop on your elephant and slowly make your way through the plantations and along the river, to the small village of Buanga. Visit the local village temple before visiting a local farmer at his home. A wonderful meal is served at the Trunk ‘n Mahout Cafe that overviews a valley. The temple dates back to the Mengwi Kingdom in 1634. Continue to Alas Kedaton temple, in a forest known as the Monkey Forest located in Tabanan. Continue in the late afternoon to Tanah Lot, Bali’s most photographed temple. The temple is perched on a little rocky islet that is inaccessible during high tides. Next drive back to Seminyak area, to be precise Canggu beach. Entered Tugu hotel on the sea side, with a wide collection of priceless antiques and rare artifacts. Walk along the beautiful surrounding and feels the magical atmosphere of Tugu hotel, while enjoy your cocktail and canapes with the magnificent sunset.
