Not only is this talented young lady a versatile performer, but she is also an experienced costumer. Her credits include S)CMT, Marriott's Great America, "Li'l Abner", "Oliver", "Carousel" and most recently, the female lead in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" for Saratoga Drama Group. She is recreating this title role which she performed for SCP 8 years ago. Dee Dee is a Documentation Coordinator for Avantek and we're happy to have her back on our stage. Oh yes, she happens to be married to the director. SCOTT HERMAN Donald S. Marshall, III A former Navy pilot who now flies commercially for Viking Freight System, Scott makes time for theater and this is his fourth appearance in a WVLO production. He earned a ERMA Award for "Kiss Me Kate.", then came "West Side Story" and he played two performances as Professor Higgins in "My Fair Lady". He has also been seen with CP in "Mister Roberts" and "Arsenic and Old Lace" and in Saratoga Drama Group's "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". A very versatile talent, Scott is also a model and has done several commercials and local ads. A charming personality and winning smile make our 'Donald' a joy to work with and creates a friendly atmosphere. It's always a pleasure to have scott in our cast. DOUG BAIRD Madame Lucy In the 23 years he has been doing shows, this is only Doug's fourth appearance with WVLO, but his last performance as Colonel Pickering in "My Fair Lady" was one of the most memorable. Since then he has performed in "Evita" and "Barnum" with San Jose Civic Light Opera and in "Cinderella" with Saratoga Drama Group. He is the recipient of three Ginny Awards and a three-time winner of the Gypsy Robe. Doug's wonderful talent, versatility and affability make him a popular cast member. He's come a long way from his first stage appearance--singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" in the fifth grade. We're glad you grew up, Doug. MARGE HAND Geraldine O'Dare This is the 21st performance with West Valley Light Opera, she played Mrs. Pearce in "My Fair Lady" last fall. Her credits are numerous and include some 50 productions in Bay Area over the past 25 years. Her German-Irish background provides the basis of this character and she has wanted to do this role for several years. We're pleased to give her the opportunity. As a self-employed Computer Services Contractor, she keeps very busy with work, Tech Director Ed, and three daughters who check in with her occasionally. She is also involved in the Quota Club of West Valley which is dedicated to help the hearing impaired. That's the great organization that has done much to make the public aware of the problems encountered by the hearing impaired. PAMELA REEDER Mrs. Marshall Pamela also appeared in "My Fair Lady", as Mrs. Higgins and so is celebrating her fourth appearance with WVLO. She was in "Marne" and "Good News". She directs and performs in variety shows for local service clubs for charity events and was also seen in "Anything Goes", "Music Man", "Little Night Music",and "Oliver". Pamela wants us to thank her wonderful husband, jack, who leaves his beloved ham radio to drive her to rehearsals and who is so nervous of the freeways, she rides in the back seat. So thank you, jack, we're grateful to you for letting Pamela do this wonderful role. DOUGLAS HAGDOHL, II Ozzie Another return form "My Fair Lady", Doug was our Professor Higgins and a very memorable one, too. A recipient of a Ginny Award, DouG has performed in "1776", "Guys and Dolls", "Music Man", was a singer.at Great America for two years, and entertained at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. He has directed "Sound of Music", "Carousel", "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and "They're Playing Our Song". He has studied Music and Theater Artsat SjSU and is a cashier/clerk at Sav-On Drugs. Now that we have Doug returning todoa character, we hope it's a good sign we will see more of him. CHRISSIE SOLANDRO Helen Burke Returning to our stage after her delightful portrayal of Ruby in "Dames at Sea", Chrissie accepts another challenging role. Her previous acting credits include Bonnie in "Anything Goes", Dolly Tate in "Annie Get Your Gun", "Bye, Bye Birdie",and "Wizard of Oz". She has also directed "Robin Hood" and "Oklahoma" for SCP junior Theater. She studied dance with Marie Stinnet and appeared in several Leigh High School productions.
