The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected. Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff $2,195.00 This Fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you selected. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving for remains.) *Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year *Arrangement interview *Bookkeeping, accounting and general clerical administration. *Securing and recording death certificate and required permits *Basic overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as insurance, maintenance and utilities. Embalming $795.00 Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Limousine $150.00 (for pallbearers or family) Lead Car $0.00 Flower Car/Utility Vehicle $150.00 Direct Cremation Direct Cremation $2,075.00 (This charge includes reduced basic services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains to funeral home within 60 miles, transfer of remains to crematory, and the cremation process.) These services do not include other preparation of the deceased (except as specifically set out above); visitation or funeral ceremonies; merchandise; automotive equipment (except as specifically set out above; cemetery cost; newspaper notices; or any other cash advanced items (except as specifically set out above). If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made out of materials like fiberboard, or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard boxes with or without an outside covering.
