WITH 17 ZONES NAMELY: (1) Zone A – Old City including Sadar Bazar area; (2) Zone B – Karol Bagh & Extn.; (3) Zone C – Civil Lines; (4) Zone D – New Delhi; (5) Zone E – Trans Yamuna Area; (6) Zone F – South Delhi – I; (7) Zone G – West Delhi; (8) Zone H – North Delhi; (9) Zone J – South Delhi – II; (10) Zone K1 – West Delhi; (11) Zone K2 – Dwarka; (12) Zone L – Extreme West Delhi (Najafgarh);(13) Zone M – Rohini; (14) Zone N – Khanjawla; (15); Zone O – River Yamuna; (16) Zone P1 – Narela; (17) Zone P2 – North Delhi (Burari) 2. ZONAL PLAN OF ZONE E (TYA) Approved by GOI vide letter no. K-12011/3/Zone- E/2010-DDIB dated 8th June, 2010. Trans Yamuna Area, generally called Shahdara is an old area since decades. Prior to 1960's there were many built up residential and rehabilitation colonies namely: (i) Dilshad Garden, (ii) Geeta Colony, (iii) Gandhi Nagar, (iv) Shahdara, (v) Balbir Nagar, (vi) Rohtash Nagar and few unauthorized colonies and villages. 3.
