HOW TO REACH THE UNIVERSIDAD CARLOS III The department’s address is Departamento de Economía de la Empresa, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid C / Madrid, 126B 28903 Getafe (Madrid) TAXI Getting to the university by taxi usually takes 20 minutes from Madrid’s center and it costs approximately 25 Euros. Our department is in Building 6 (“Normante”) of the Getafe Campus while the seminar room (Salòn de Grados) is in the Building 8 (Edificio de Rectorado). Business Department Salon de Grados By Public transportation SUBWAY Take Line 10 until Puerta del Sur and then Line 12 until subway station: Juan de la Cierva. (http://www.metromadrid.es/acc_resources/pdfs/Plano_Metro_2007.pdf). It takes 40 minutes in total and it costs 1,50 € .The University is 4 minutes walk (see below). BUS: To reach the university by bus, take the BUS E1 from Plaza Atocha (the bus stop is near Kentucky Fried Chicken) until Plaza Elíptica, ( or by subway: Line 6: Plaza Eliptica). Then From Plaza Eliptica take the “green” bus lines 441 or 442, gates 16 and 17. The buses ride take approximately 25 minutes and they stop right in front of the university’s main entrance. The total cost is 2,5 €. TRAIN At the Atocha Renfe Station (Estación de Atocha, see map below) take the commuter train (“Cercanías”) line number 4 to Parla and stop at “Las Margaritas Universidad” station. Trains run approximately every 15 minutes and it takes approximately 20 minutes to get to “Las Margaritas Universidad” from Atocha.
