A1a Amend Appendix 1a of the Plan to provide reference to the NZAA site numbers. 2641/33 A1a That once archaeological surveys and or excavations have been done on each of these specific sites that they be reassessed for 721/4 inclusion or not within the scheduled archaeological site. A1a That more effort is made to specify the exact middens, pits and terraces instead of including a large area of land that does not 721/1 have any of these features. A1a Opposes the gaps in the listing of sites of archaeological significance eg Okoka Bay. 709/9, 3354/4, 3832/4 A1a Seeks a heritage classification for the Pa site (pit and terracing) on Crosby Reserve (50 Fairview Crescent, Rocky Bay). 3176/1 Reference planning maps sheet 15, map 2. A1a Retain Appendix 1a in a manner that is consistent with the lists contained in the Auckland Regional Plan: Coastal, subject to 3521/146 amendments sought elsewhere in this submission. An authority is required from the NZHPT prior to damaging, destroying or modifying any archaeological site, whether the site is scheduled within this Plan or not. Shops such as 819/7, 844/7, 858/7, 871/7, 902/7, the Oneroa Fruit & Vege Shop and Jewellers, the old butchers shops at Oneroa and Surfdale. The Beach Shops at Little Oneroa, 928/7, 1011/7, 1123/7, 1152/7, Rocky Bay, Palm Beach, Onetangi. The special / significant places and buildings such as the Alison Homestead and Coach house 1204/7, 1216/7, 1232/7, 1291/7, – Matiatia, Janet Frame’s cottage (If it still exists), the Red Cross (Oneroa), the Red Shed (Palm Beach), and the Library and 1375/7, 1636/7, 1637/7, 1638/7, Artworks.
