In six games against Gwinnett, then known as the Braves, SWB went 4-2. Jace Peterson was designated for assignment and Shane Robinson was signed to a Major League contract before being selected from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Yankees acquired infielder L.J. Mazzilli, son of long-time big league Lee Mazzilli, from the New York Mets in a trade and assigned him to the RailRiders roster. Mazzilli was batting .333 with a run batted in for the Las Vegas 51’s over four games prior to the trade. STRONG STARTS: The RailRiders rotation has been stout over the first six games of the season, but has yet to 2018 VS. KNIGHTS factor in a decision. The five starters have combined for a 2.48 ERA after allowing eight earned runs over 29 innings pitched.
