(7 items) Lot 256 AVIATION, AVIATORS & FLIGHT Lot 256 POSTCARDS: 1934 Australian Broadcasting Commission self-congratulatory postcard for Estimate A$100 assistance given to the Dutch plane 'Uiver' that helped it avert a mid-air crisis and land safely at Albury (NSW) with facsimile telegrams plus photos & facsimile signatures of the Reserve A$75 pilots, unused. Very scarce. [This incident occurred in the closing stages of the MacRobertson Air Race, that was won on handicap by the 'Uiver'.
