ETA SIGMA GAMMA Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) is a national honor society designed for both Health Science major and minor students in Health Education. ESG was first organized in 1967, with the National Office located in Muncie, Indiana and is associated with Ball State University. With over 80 chapters nationwide, ​CSULB is the fifth ESG chapter and was established in 1970 as Gamma chapter. Mission​:​ To elevate the standards, ideals, competence, and ethics of professionally trained persons in the discipline of Health Education. It is built upon three pillars: teaching, research, and service.
