This medieval city is home to some of Italy’s most elegant piazzas, exquisitely decorated churches, and sought aTer shopping streets in Italy! Surrounded by the picture-perfect rolling hills of Tuscany, it’s the birthplace of Michelangelo, Dante and the Italian renaissance itself. Our ‘zoom’ virtual tour will take the form of an introductory walk around the centre of the city, where we’ll see some of Florence’s best-known monuments close-up as well as some interes,ng spots which are a liYle more off the beaten track. As well as Florence’s rich historical and cultural heritage, we’ll also learn a liYle about what there is to see and do in the modern city. Your guide, James, is a qualified ‘Blue Badge’ tourist guide who has spent many years travelling in Italy, and has a wealth of entertaining stories to tell.
