The Bend Elks are one of the WCL’s initial franchises. The AppleSox modern-day WCL 2014 series with Bend dates back to 2005. The Elks play at Vince Genna Stadium and are in the Overall 25-21 WCL South Division. League 21-20 Non-league 4-1 Division 12-9 SERIES WITH THE ELKS Home games 12-11 Away games 13-10 The Elks currently stand one game out of first place in the WCL South and are leading Day games 1-1 the WCL Wildcard standings by three games over the AppleSox. Coming into 2014, Bend Night games 24-20 was the only WCL club to hold an overall winning record against the AppleSox. They are 27-24 leaders in the series over the AppleSox in WCL play. The clubs have met in the Series 11-5 playoffs once in 2010 and it was the championship series. The series took three games Home Series 6-2 Away Series 5-3 and the AppleSox won the 2010 WCL crown (W-L-W). The teams have met in extra First game of series 7-9 innings three times, with Bend winning two of the three (2008 twice, AppleSox won in Rubber game of series 7-2 Last game of series 10-5 2005). Last season the AppleSox were swept in their only three meetings with Bend (at Series sweeps 3-2 Vince Genna Stadium). They have played five times Monday games 2-3 and four of those fuuve occurences have been on the road. The AppleSox have three Tuesday games 2-5 Wednesday games 5-3 Sunday games remaining and Sunday does still prove to be the best day of the week for Thursday games 5-1 Wenatcheee. AppleSox score first 17-7 Until yesterday, when the AppleSox hit two or more HR’s in a game, they were unde- Opponent scores first 8-14 feated.
