Description of training centre: The Capu Midia Range is the specialized unit of the Romanian Air Forces which provides facilities for surface-to-air, air-to-air and sea-to-air firings, complex training in simulated combat scenarios and new products acceptance tests. Moreover, surface-to-surface (land or sea) firings are possible, as well. Location: on the Black Sea coast, at approx. 25 km north to Constanta town (approx. 44o22’ lat. N 28o42’ long. E). 3. Description of the proposed course and access conditions: − Capu Midia firing range dispose of secured wide range areas, equipment for trajectography as well as a wide array of remote controlled targets (aerial and naval). − Available infrastructure: accommodation, meals and medical care facilities for 200 officers and 900 unlisted at a time; ammunition storage facilities; communication networks (military and civilian); recreation facilities outdoor sport-field, fishing, swimming, sun-bath on the sea-beach.
