Plus there’s more to see at St. Andrew’s Centre. We made breadbread----hogs,hogs, leaf bunting, colouringcolouring----inin and heart prayers. We sang songs and danced around the church. Linda talked to us about being thankful at Harvest time and how much God loves us. Then we went into the hall and had a chicken casserole with crusty bread, and cakes! It was great fun. The course is fun, relaxed and totally non-pressured (that’s probably why over 18 million people around the world have already done it!) Never been to church? Not sure what you believe? Maybe you gave up on church a long time ago. The course was designed for you or anyone who doesn’t go to church regularly. Ever wanted to explore the meaning of life or ask challenging questions about the Christian faith? Maybe you’re just curious about this church stuff and want to have a a nosy? Alpha doesn’t care about your background, it welcomes all those big questions and it’s free. Can’t say fairer than that right? Each session begins with food, snacks, that sort of thing, followed by a short talk looking at a different aspect of the Christian faith and time for discussion.
