Gillian Rae Perry Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6 Cast Biographies Annie Jane Adams (Mary) – Sherlock Holmes: The Adventure of the Priory School is Annie Adams’ fifth show with Theatre Rocks! Her favorite show she has been in is An Orphan’s Adventure as the character of “Penelope the Pig.” Annie loves theatre, writing, sleeping, and spending time with friends (and her cat!). She hopes that she can act in many more plays in the future, especially at Theatre Rocks! Charlene Andrews (Edith White—April 24) – Charlene has been part of the Theatre Rocks! family for nine years now, either on stage, helping backstage, or working the lights/sound board. Her first time on stage was under the direction of Bill Rhoten in the role of “Beth Bailey” in ’Til Beth Do Us Part in 2012. Other roles include “Geneva Musgrave” in Christmas Belles, “Viney” in The Miracle Worker, “The Sheriff” in A Bad Year for Tomatoes, “The Queen” in Cinderella, “Flick” in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, "Nursemaid" in Sleeping Beauty, and “Ignis” in An Orphan’s Adventure. She loves animals, wind chimes, swimming, working outside, and collecting baskets and ANYTHING made out of wood or stone! Jacquelyn Bailey (Margaret/featured singer) – Jacquelyn, age 13, is excited to perform in Sherlock Holmes with her friends. Besides acting, Jaci also loves singing, playing the piano, crafting, and hanging out with her friends. Her favorite roles she has played are “Becky” (A Little Princess), “Alice” (Alice in Wonderland), “Scrooge” (Scrooge), and Musical Fairy (An Orphan’s Adventure). She is thankful to her mom, dad, God, and her friends Abigail, Julia, and Grace for being big supporters in this play. Cast Biographies Simon Bailey (Master Heidegger/Servant) – Simon is thrilled with his unique role in this detective story. Simon’s past roles have included “Jordo” in An Orphan’s Adventure, “Captain Hook” in Peter Pan, and “Michael Scott” in The Classroom. Simon is skilled in writing, typing with his nose, and accidentally doxing his friend Corbin online. Simon would like to thank Alan, Tony, Oscarr, Morgan, Toby, Lord A., and Filesto (keep doing what you’re doing, bucko). He hopes you enjoy the show. Ethan Binder (Constable Bertram Dodd) – Ethan is an 18-year-old senior at Great Hearts Irving. This is his first appearance at Theatre Rocks!, but he has been in productions of The Taming of the Shrew and Twelfth Night. Ethan likes Shakespeare and aspires to be a film director. Gideon Binder (Officer Jackson) – Gideon is a 16- year-old homeschooled student. This is his first play at Theatre Rocks! It is also his first play at an actual theatre, and he is very excited to be in it. His hobbies include writing and building anything from Lego models to catapults and robots. Aaron Brazell (Thaddeus Fenwick) – Aaron is an enthusiastic 13-year-old, seventh-grade home- schooled student. He was recently seen as "Ben Osborn" in Bill Rhoten's My Favorite Christmas (2020). He played “Pig Boy” in An Orphan’s Adventure, directed by Rebecca Perry. He also played “Wayne Jackson” in Bill Rhoten’s 2018 Christmas production of Where’s Santa? and “Mr. Carrisford’s nephew” in A Little Princess. Some of his hobbies include playing outside with his dogs Midnight and Twilight, drawing, riding his bike, and spending time with his siblings. Aaron is excited to be acting again! Cast Biographies Abigail Brazell (Nan/featured singer) – Abigail is a 16-year-old student currently taking dual-credit classes at Navarro College and is an employee at Chick-fil-A. This is her fifth production with Theatre Rocks! Her past productions include Cinderella (2016) (“Young Agnes”/Dancer), A Little Princess (2019) (“Rosalind”), An Orphan’s Adventure (2020) (“Silly Girl”/Fairy Dancer), and the world premiere of Bill Rhoten's Life's Little Miracles (2021) ("Rita Masters"). She also helped backstage with sound and lighting tech for Bill Rhoten’s My Favorite Christmas (2020). In her free time, Abigail enjoys writing music, playing her ukulele and piano, and recording her original songs. She just recently released her first single "God Sees" on all platforms! She is super excited to be once again back on stage at Theatre Rocks! She would like to thank the Lord and Mrs. Perry for the opportunity to act in this play! Jonathan Brazell (Officer Lewis) – Jonathan is a senior in high school currently taking dual-credit classes at Navarro College. This is Jonathan's fourth and final production at Theatre Rocks! His past credits include “Guard”/”Ballroom Dancer” in Cinderella, “Doll Merchant”/“Servant James” in A Little Princess and “Highwayman” in An Orphan’s Adventure. In his free time, Jonathan works at Chick-fil-A in Ennis, and he enjoys playing the piano and yo-yoing. He plans to attend Harding University in Arkansas this fall studying Electronic Media Production. Cast Biographies Shiloh Brazell (Shelta/featured dancer and singer) – Shiloh is an 11-year-old homeschooler. This is her fourth production at Theatre Rocks! Her past appearances here include Cinderella (“Young Cinderella”), A Little Princess (“Last Doll”/ “Melchizedek”/Little Girl), and An Orphan’s Adventure (Fairy Dancer). In her free time, you can find Shiloh doing art projects and dancing. She is a student at Avant Garde Theatre of Dance School in Ennis. She is thrilled to be back on stage! Rockey Carter (Dr. Thorneycroft Huxtable) – Rockey is a true lover of the theatre. This will be his first performance at Theatre Rocks!, but he has stage managed Bill Rhoten’s plays at The Core Theatre in Richardson. He has spent the last four years working at The Core starring in The Battle of Blair Mountain, Driving Miss Daisy, Every Night Live, A Reason to Believe, and The Trial of Ebeneezer Scrooge, to name a few. He also likes to help backstage and has taken to assisting with the costuming in the shows at The Core and has enjoyed working in the tech station along with working backstage. Rockey enjoys the interest everyone takes in helping his children grow while participating at shows and thinks we have a great community. Rockey has been involved with theatre and acting from his youth. In college he studied costuming, set design, stage management, and directing. Presently he is in seminary at The Kings University. Rockey currently works as an online engineer. He also runs a drama-based ministry out of local Baruch Ha-Shem Messianic Synagogue. Rockey and his wife Barbara have seven children. Cast Biographies Roland Carter (James Wilder) – Roland has been involved with multiple productions since his early years. This will be his first performance at Theatre Rocks! He has spent the last four years involved in multiple productions at The Core Theatre in Richardson both on and off stage. He has participated in The Battle of Blair Mountain, Every Night Live, A Reason to Believe, My First Date, Forever, The Trial of Ebeneezer Scrooge, and Tom Sawyer on stage.
