Ouchi-juku is just a 2 hour drive from Nikko, and is close to the hot spring towns Yunokami Onsen and Ashinomaki Onsen. Parking: Spaces available for cars and tour buses. Paid parking. By Car: approx. 60 min. from Shirakawa I.C. on the Tohoku Expressway By Train: 5 min walk from To-no-hetsuri Station (Aizu Line). 【Map】 【Website】 Fukushima City Fruit picking information Fruit Picking Pick your own fresh apples at Fukushima City's Fruit Line from October!The Fruit Line is the name of a road in Fukushima City home to around 50 orchards and stores where visitors can pick their own fruit. During fruit-picking season, displays of freshly-picked fruit appear outside many shops.There are also cafés that sell parfaits and gelato made from seasonal fruit, which are popular among visitors during the main fruit-picking seasons.The type of fruit available for picking varies by season and depends on the orchard. By Car: Around 8km from the Fukushima Nishi I.C. exit off the Tohoku Expressway, via national road 115. Tsuchiyu Onsen Tsuchiyu Onsen is popular for visitors wanting to relax in an onsen while gazing out at fall leaves.Tsuchiyu Onsen is known for being the birthplace of one of the most famous types of kokeshi dolls in Japan. Experience painting kokeshi dolls for yourself at workshops in town. By Car: 15 min from Fukushima Nishi I.C. exit off the Tohoku Expressway. By Bus: Take the bus bound for Tsuchiyu Onsen from Fukushima Station. Get off at the final stop. It will take 45 minutes. 【Map】 【Website】 The fall leaves during early November Natsui River Valley The fall leaves at Natsui River Valley begin to uncover their beautiful colors during early November. This valley is known for its stunning Japanese-maple trees. By Train: 30 min drive from Joban Expressway Iwaki-Chuo I.C. By Car: 15 min by foot from Eda Station (JR Ban'etsu East Line). 【Map】 【Website】 Nearby onsen town Iwaki Yumoto Onsen Iwaki Yumoto Onsen is known for being listed as one of three great hot springs (along with Arima Onsen and Dogo Onsen) in a record from over 1000 years ago. 5000 liters of hot spring water flow from Iwaki Yumoto Onsen's source spring every minute. The waters are popular among visitors due to their medicinal benefits.There is also an onsen shrine and footbaths in the town. By Car: 5 min from the Iwaki Yumoto I.C. exit off the Joban Expressway.
